COURSE DESCRIPTION
This course is designed for students who are interested in or plan on owning or operating a business in the future.
Units of study include:
GRADING
Your grade will be determined by the grades you earn on homework, projects, tests, quizzes and participation using the following scale:
90% - 100% A
80% - 89% B
70% - 79% C
60% - 69% D
0 - 59% F
CLASSROOM EXPECTATIONS AND ORGANIZATION
· You are to conduct yourself in a businesslike manner at all times. Display good manners, initiative, neatness and courtesy.
· You are required to hand in completed work on time. NO LATE WORK WILL BE ACCEPTED WITHOUT GOOD CAUSE. COMMUNICATE WITH ME!
· You are expected to come to class prepared and ready to work.
· You are expected to be in the room when the bell rings. Please bring a pass if you are late.
· No food or drink in any of the business rooms.
TEACHER AVAILABILITY
This trimester I am free 3rd and 4th periods. If you need to speak with me, please let me know in advance because sometimes I will be out of the building. You can also arrange to see me before school (by appointment).
