Healthy Kids Community Care

School-Based Health Clinics

Healthy Kids Community Care is a school based health clinic that is an extension of traditional health services

offered in the Iowa City Community School District. The clinic is open to students in the school district who are

without access to affordable health care (such as no insurance or a high deductible). The goal of the clinic is to

keep students healthy so that they will be successful in school. The clinic is staffed by a Nurse Practitioner and a

University of Iowa Pediatrician.

The clinic is on Tuesdays at Southeast Junior High School

(Stop in main office for directions)

The clinic is also on Thursdays at West High School

Located in Room 23

(Enter through the 9th Grade Center)
