| Students interested in the United Nations, international affairs, and debate will love this club. MUN involves learning about other nations and discussing world issues with high school students from around the country. In the fall, MUN members attend the Governor's Youth Symposium in Des Moines where they deliberate issues facing the United Nations from the perspective of the United States. In the spring, members attend an overnight conference at the University of Northern Iowa, acting as delegates from countries around the world. In this capacity, they become experts on their country and debate and build resolutions with students representing other countries. Cost for MUN is approximately $90.00 per year, but can be waived due to financial hardship. | ||
