| The recycling project involves volunteers who work closely with special needs students. These students use the project to develop work skills for future jobs. The team collects paper (all colors), newspaper, chipboard, corrugated cardboard, aluminum cans and plastic bottles every afternoon during sixth period. The various items are then sorted and taken to central collection facilites at school and in the community. Volunteers interested in promoting other modes of recycling are encouraged to join and create more service projects for the school. | ||
