COURSE TITLE: Visual Studies
PREREQUISITE: None
LENGTH: One trimester

COURSE DESCRIPTION: Visual Studies (7th grade art) is an exploratory course that offers students a variety of art techniques and a study of art history. Students are encouraged to think, be creative, share ideas, explore new ideas and appreciate a variety of cultural diversity in art.

COURSE DESCRIPTION: Art and Expression is an exploratory course for students who enjoy creative self-expression in visual art. Students will experiment in a wide variety of media to develop their artistic skills and talents. They will be encouraged to try different styles and techniques, and they will discuss their own work and that of others.
