Rationale for global studies:
Every year the world becomes more and more connected. Many countries and groups of people have become more influential and have an impact on our country and the world. If the USA is to remain a prosperous country with many opportunities for its citizens we need to be informed about the different countries and people around the world.
Binders will be collected on Monday November 3rd
Binder Rules
Global studies Northwest Junior High
Use a three ring binder. I will not accept a folder when they are collected.
- The following will need to be placed in the Notebook’s. (Mr. Crock will make this clear)
- All graded assignments.
- All formal notes.
- Designated practice work
- Pretests.
- You will need a table of contents which you will need to keep accurate.
- The following will probably not be placed in the notebook.
- Bell ringer activities.
- Brainstorming activities
- Explorations
- The notebook will be collected 1 week before the end of each trimester.
- This will be worth 100 points (this is equal to one test grade).
- Bring your notebook every day!!!
- My binder is located on the table at the front of the classroom. Feel free to check the table of contents at any time.
