Connected.info is the on-line information portal NW will use this year to coordinate grades, attendance, assignments, calendars and social media for teachers, students and parents. Please refer to the FAQ's below to learn more about Connected.info.

1. Where can I see in overview of Connected.info?

2. How can I get a connection token?
There are two ways to get a connection token. 1. Connected.info can send you an invitation to join if you provide the school with a valid email address. Note: you may have to check your "junk mail" folder for this email. 2. Send an email request for a token to NW c/o brown.jane@iccsd.k12.ia.us. Make sure that you give your full name and your child's name. If you are listed as legal parent or guardian, Ms. Brown will send you a connection token.
3. I put in my connection token, and it is telling me that Connected.info will send me an email, but I haven't gotten the email, what's up with that?
Check your "junk mail" folder or spam filter. Some email providers, such as Yahoo!, tend to block messages from Connected.info.
4. I have tried the message system to ask the teacher a question, but I haven't gotten a reply. Why?
Teachers at NW use email, not the Connected.info messaging system for communication. Please go to the faculty/staff page for email addresses.
5. What is different about my son/daughter's Connected.info account and my parent account?
Not much. Students have the capability to hand in assignments directly through Connected.info, but basically you are looking at the same thing.
6. What are the expectations for NW teachers in using Connected.info?
All teachers are expected to use Connected.info to enhance their curriculum by posting information such as assignment sheets, class outlines and a class syllabus to each of their classes in Connected.info. Some teacher may elect to use more of the features of Connected.info such as on-line homework submission, wikis and class forums.
7. I have two students at NW, do I have to have two separate accounts?
No, you can manage information for both students with one account. To add another connection token, from your home page, click on setting, then click on the Register tab to the left of the screen. From here you will be able to add another token.
8. Where can I find my student's grades like I used to on Powerschool?
Just under the name of your student, you will see four links. Click on the words "grades and assignments" and you will be taken to a screen with grades for all classes. From there, you can see grades for individual assignments by clicking on the link called "assignment details". Here is an example:
