Strings
The students are invited to tryout for string instruments. This program is under the direction of Tascha Keettel. It is open to everyone from 3rd to 6th grades. The students try out for different stringed instruments. They may rent them from outside sources or bring their own. They have individual lessons or in groups during the week, later on in the year they present short programs. There are so many students in orchestra this year that there was a need for another strings person, Gae Ellyn Gentzsch fills this need. She comes on Monday mornings. She also teaches at South East.
Ms. Keettel also goes to City High, Longfellow, Lemme and Shimek.
