Science
This year we are studying Habitats, Balance and Motion, and The Life Cycle of the Butterfly. Habitats and Butterflies are life science units, and Balance in Motion is a physical science unit. Children are encouraged to develop a natural curiosity about the world around them.
Social Studies
Our social studies theme for the year is "My Community". This curriculum focuses on the definition of a community, map skills, geography, environment, goods and services, consumerism, how communities change, and citizenship.
