HEIFER PROJECT RAISED $475 FOR HAITI
Thanks to the efforts of students, parents, classroom teachers, and staff, we were able to make a difference in the lives of families a penny, nickel, dime, quarter, and dollar at a time.  The students and staff came up with a variety of ways to raise money, have some fun and help others.  Some classes challenged each other to a penny contest some charged $.25 to wear a hat or slippers, and others had a bake sale.  Ambassador Club members
selected to spend the money on a variety of animals from a llama ($150) to a flock of chicks ($30). Thank you for supporting this project that helps to give animals to families who will benefit both economically and by improving their health.  It also gives our students a great hands-on lesson of giving to others to make a difference.
